Before founding Gus & Me, I worked in the clothing industry for many years where I learnt a great deal about fabric properties and how to design clothes for children. Now that I have two children of my own, and a much wider understanding of what children really enjoy wearing, I find myself constantly disappointed and frustrated by High Street retailers whose clothing is not only impractical, but also makes children look and feel a lot older than they are. That’s why I set up this company. I want Gus & Me to put the love and care back into children’s clothing by offering garments that children really enjoy wearing without forgetting the practical needs of a parent. Gus & Me offers a timeless collection of versatile and practical clothing that can be worn, washed and handed down, time after time, without losing their style and beauty. What better way to cherish children’s younger years than maintaining their innocence and beauty. Gus & Me clothes for 1-9 year olds are chic yet classic and keep children looking like children, with quirky design finishes that children love. Our ranges, designed and produced in Italy & Denmark, use high performance natural fabrics and are manufactured to an excellent specification. We regularly update the collections to reflect the seasonal changes, and make sure that each piece of clothing co-ordinates and compliments the rest of the range.
